Quartzite is a hard and durable stone, well suited for foot traffic. This stone does not break in any predictable pattern, and I had to
cut almost every piece with a diamond saw just to maintain some uniformity in the mortar joints. To achieve added strength, no lime was added to the mortar for this natural stone masonry paving. Here is another natural stone masonry patio view.
