This view shows more contrast and color, especially for the masonry art glass pieces.
I used five different types of stone and five types of brick in this fireplace.
You can see one of the functional oil lanterns that is embedded into the mortar. Finding different objects to spontaneously incorporate into the design is the fun part of an organic masonry art project.
