There are numerous metal and glass objects combined with the brick, stone and mortar that make this fireplace an interesting conversation
piece. See a close-up of this unique firebox here.
The larger blue and green stones, including the keystone over the firebox opening, are actually made of slag glass. When it's dark outside, the slag glass keystone illuminates in the fire light.
Both chimneys are functional and the entire structure is reinforced with steel.
